MIIKO DESIGN "Vanerivakka" bread box made of birch veneer wood 24 x 13 cm

"Vanerivakka" is a beautiful bread box made of birch wood. The lid has a removable cutting board that can easily be lifted onto the table for cutting bread. The cutting board can also be used as a serving plate. The inspiration for the owl motif of the board comes from the Finnish forests. This product is also ideal for storing odds and ends at home and makes a great gift! 

The material for the product is made of sustainable, PEFC and FSC certified Finnish birch. The wood is untreated and can be treated with food-safe varnish or oil if desired.

Behind Miiko's story are four sisters. Handmade craftsmanship, bubbling creativity and a passion for design have been present from the founders' childhood to the present day. Finland's ruggedly beautiful nature serves as an endless source of inspiration and a place for them to draw energy and imagery from. Most of the materials used in their products also come from Finnish nature.
