Beanie by the Finnish brand COSTO is made of 100% mulesing-free merino wool: the yarn has the ISO standard as well as Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. The lining of the beanie is made of 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. ONE SIZE size (for a head circumference from approx. 56 cm). Manufactured in Finland. Wash by hand in warm water.
The magic of this beanie lies in its versatility. The upper part of the hat has a removable pom-pom (diameter 6.5 cm). The colour of the pom-pom can be changed depending on the time of day and your mood, or it can be left out altogether - the choice is yours!
Knitted beanies stretch easily when worn frequently; therefore, the new beanie may fit a little tighter. The advantage of knitted goods is that only a few remnants are left over in production and they are also recyclable.
COSTO is a creation of three Finnish designers who combine their visions and skills to create something new and unprecedented in the field of design. The products combine three important aspects: quality, ecology and style. It all began in 2006 - after completing studies in fashion, design and handicrafts - in a basement room, without financial means, but with all the more passion. With a view to developing environmentally friendly, sustainable and at the same time attractive designs, the designers made use of industrial waste materials right from the start.
