The Bonden label was founded in 2017 by designer and trend analyst Kati Hienonen. Bonden creates home accessories that reconnect our senses with nature, using the purest Nordic natural materials such as sheep's wool and linen in a new and innovative way.
Kati Hienonen has developed a thin wool yarn quality from the wool of Finnish sheep that is suitable for industrial production and feels as noble as merino wool. The wool of Finnish sheep used to be a waste product that was destroyed. For Bonden, eco-luxury means not only sustainable production, but also touching nature on the skin through different textures in the spirit of Nordic design. Bonden products are dyed with vegetable dyes and the entire production process takes place in Finland.
