The maker behind the label OMPELUS is originally from Finland. It was there that she discovered the reindeer leather material and was immediately impressed. Soon afterwards she started to produce reindeer leather bags. In her studio in Winterthur she has been making light but robust bags since 2009, in many different shape and colour combinations.
